Cinema Classics: List for Virasat 2012

SPIC MACAY chapters at the level of schools, colleges, cities and states, kindly note that:

(1) All the activities of Cinema Classics, will have to be conducted based on the following list of films. The list contains well-selected films and is restricted for various reasons. Any film out of the list, if screened, will not be accepted as a valid event of SPIC MACAY.

(2) Additions can be made to the above mentioned list by either Dr. Siddhartha Chakravorty, Shri Nandan Kudhyadi or me. For this, I invite all the coordinators to send in their suggestions via e-mail.

(3) Any of the three persons can be consulted for choosing the film, for a specific event. However, the coordinators can adopt other methods of selection also, given that most of them have good experience of organizing cinema-screenings.

(4) Please note that, in past, people have screened few films which do not fit into the concept of Cinema classics module of SPIC MACAY. A similar, unacceptable, choice of film was made in a recent state convention also, without any consultation.Such events, I repeat, will not be considered for the activity chart of the year.
